Common questions answered

A quick overview of how the NI service works, costs, and what to expect.

Who is the ADHD Now Northern Ireland service for?

Adults (18+) across Northern Ireland seeking a private adult ADHD assessment, a confirmed diagnosis, or structured psychiatry support for ADHD medication. We do not currently offer child or adolescent assessment in Northern Ireland.

How much does the assessment cost?

The assessment is split into three stages: the £49 Initial Consultation, the £495 Full Assessment, and the £325 Diagnosis & Report. You only progress at each clinical decision point. Klarna monthly payment plans are available for Steps 2 and 3.

How much does the psychiatry service cost?

The Psychiatry Intake Consultation is £49. If clinically appropriate, the structured initiation & titration programme is £289 per month for 3 months. Follow-up reviews after stabilisation are £125 each, only when needed. Eligible stable patients can also transition to Duality Healthcare membership at £49.99 per month.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. Most adults in Northern Ireland can self–refer and book directly. With your consent, we share copies of your prescriptions and monitoring records with your HSC GP so your wider care team is informed.

I was diagnosed elsewhere — can ADHD Now take over my ADHD care?

Yes, in most cases. Your £49 intake consultation reviews your existing diagnostic report and any prior medication history. If the documentation meets UK clinical standards, we can either start titration with us or take over your existing prescription on the same structured pathway.

Where is the service delivered?

All appointments are delivered online via secure video, accessible from anywhere in Northern Ireland — Belfast, Derry, Newry, Lisburn, Antrim, Down, Tyrone, Fermanagh, and Armagh. Ongoing care is supported by our partnership with Duality Healthcare, with established clinics in Omagh, Ballymena, and beyond.
