Our assessment is a structured process that includes an in-depth clinical interview, validated ADHD rating scales, and a review of your developmental, medical and personal history. If possible, we also gather input from someone who knows you well (such as a partner, parent, or friend).
The full process typically takes between 2–3 hours, split across multiple online appointments. You’ll also be asked to complete questionnaires in advance. A detailed diagnostic report is usually provided within approximately 3 weeks.
Most of our assessments are delivered securely online by video call. This makes the process accessible no matter where you live, while ensuring the same quality standards as an in-person consultation.
In many cases yes, however we cannot guarantee cover from insurance companies and it is up to the patient to verify with your health insurance company. If you intend on claiming cover from your insurer, please notify us in advance of an assessment or aftercare pathway. We cannot guarantee rebates will be provided as everyone’s insurer, plan and situation is different. ADHD Now assessments are structured to accommodate insurance company requirements.
You’ll receive a detailed diagnostic report, resources and recommendations for treatment and support. This may include therapy, medication or coaching depending on your personal circumstances. Depending on your needs our experienced team can agree on a treatment plan.
