We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team and help us make a difference in the lives of individuals with ADHD.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • ADHD Assessments: Conduct thorough, evidence-based ADHD assessments for clients, using diagnostic tools and the DSM-5 criteria.
  • Diagnostic Reporting: Prepare detailed diagnostic reports that include comprehensive evaluations, ADHD diagnoses, and personalised recommendations for treatment and intervention.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for clients.
  • Education and Client Support: Educate clients and their families about ADHD, offering strategies for symptom management and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, clinical guidelines, and developments in ADHD diagnosis and treatment to ensure the highest standard of care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A recognised university degree in psychology, with a postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Membership: Must be a current member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Chartered membership of PSI is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience conducting ADHD assessments and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders in a clinical setting.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, diagnostic reporting, and client support. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
